Toni Sparks, Broker Associate, was first licensed in 1972. A resident of Colorado Springs since 1971, she has watched the town grow and knows the area well. She enjoys providing information and assistance to those moving to this area. Her background is military, and having moved 24 times, she understands the stress a move puts on a family in transition. Sharing the burden, understanding the anxiety, and getting to YES are her primary concerns.
Toni goes “above and beyond” the norm of a full service realtor, helping her clients with whatever it takes to make things happen. She has readied homes for sale by arranging for cleaning, staging with her own materials, and presenting homes in the best possible light. Her attitude of genuine caring and empathy sets her apart from the average agent.
Toni serves a variety of clients – families, the elderly, singles and foreign nationals new to the area. In addition to the GRI designation (Graduate, Realtor Institute), she also holds the SRES designation (Seniors Real Estate Specialist). The SRES places its primary emphasis on the needs and concerns of senior citizens. Toni was voted Rookie of the Year in 2005 and has won the Salesman of the Month competition many times.
She continually updates her knowledge by attending classes relating to home construction, short sales, financing, plumbing and electrical problems, water and water rights, real estate law, radon mitigation, home inspections, and a variety of other topics relevant to home ownership. More recent professional designations include the Military Relocation Professional (MRP) as well as the Certified Military Residential Specialist (CMRS) as authorized by the American Warrior Initiative. Educational updating in the preparation of Comparative Market Analyses, along with updates on Colorado Real Estate Contract Law are also a part of her professional “toolbox”.
More than anything, Toni is a PEOPLE person. Her relationship with her clients is paramount. Trust and ethics are everything and she views her clients as members of the total “team”. She never loses sight of how her clients feel, what they want, what they need, what they fear and what they can afford. She LISTENS to them and lets them know that she understands. Sharing the joy when the “mission” is accomplished is worth her every effort.
