You will love working with her.
You can say that I have literally been involved in the real estate profession since childhood when I would file my dad's listings each week in the file box, go with him when he listed, and knock on the walls to make sure they were lath and plaster and not that new-fangled dry wall.
I became a realtor in California in 1976 and then moved here in 1984. In 1986 I became a Colorado broker with Rawhide. I built a Lodge Log Home in Black Forest which from 1990-2017, when I sold it, was the AAA-3 Diamond Black Forest Bed & Breakfast.
I bring a lot of life experience with me from buying land, to building your own home, to owning and operating a business when I take you out to find the property that you are looking for.
I'm excited to be part of The Rawhide Company!
Developing much of the land in northern El Paso County "back in the day", our company has become synonymous with forward-thinking, hard work, ethical standards and solid values that stand the test of time.
I feel at home here, as a love of the outdoors and enjoyment "of the land" was shared with me by my father beginning when I was quite young.
I am a second generation Colorado Springs native. I take pride in a job well done, excellent customer service, and building strong, lasting relationships with my customers. My sales career began in our community in 2000.
I look forward to assisting you with any land or residential needs that you may have in the future.
I was born and raised in New Jersey, graduated from Lock Haven State University in Pennsylvania and was commissioned in the U.S. Army. My husband and I were assigned to Ft. Carson in 1989 and we have lived in the Colorado Springs and Eastern Plains area ever since.
After leaving the military to start a family, my husband, Jim, and I started a small feed store business in Falcon (Farmer Jim's Feed). We sold our thriving business 5 years later to devote our time to cattle ranching. Our Limousin/Angus ranch has grown from 2 cows to over 175 in less than 6 years. We've moved around quite a bit, but now we're in the process of building our second home on 400 acres.
I personally understand the stress of packing, moving and searching for just the right place, as quickly as possible and without a lot of hassle. I'm totally committed to helping you find your home, whether it's downtown or out here in the country.
ATTITUDE DETERMINES ALTITUDE!
Welcome to my bio! It's so nice to be associated with The Rawhide Company REALTORS® and its people, a company with experienced staff and agents willing to go the extra mile to assist our clients and each other.
I was born and raised in New England, lived a short time in Buffalo, NY before moving to Williamsburg, VA where I lived for 12 years working for The College of William and Mary. My work there involved raising money for scholarships and endowments, making contact with
well-known alumni, students, professors, which has proven good background for my real estate career. It has provided me with the marketing, selling and listening skills which are so important.
Moving to the Black Forest area in 1991 was a dream come true. Blessed with two children, the real estate field afforded me the flexibility I needed to meet their busy schedules. Now that they are in college, my focus is more on making your dreams come true.
With the military having such a big influence on our area, I've become involved in sponsoring a number of service men and women who are serving overseas. The letters and packages we send routinely are a way of expressing our appreciation. The greatest joy is to be at their welcome home ceremonies.
Now that my volunteering days for Girl Scouts, PTO, hockey, baseball and cheerleading have ended, I've been redirected toward supporting Women's Advocacy groups.
My membership in the Pikes Peak Board of Realtors, as well as the Denver Board of Realtors and various local forum groups, provides my clients with more coverage of their listings. Whether buying or selling . . . anything from cabins to castles . . . give me a call!

When the family businesses were sold, Corky moved to the Washington DC Metro Area where he worked 4-jobs to put himself through school at the University of Maryland in College Park. He graduated with a BS in Business Administration/Marketing.
After graduation, Corky took a job with REI and was quickly promoted to Retail Supervisor and transferred to their 5th largest store in Berkeley California.
When his wife decided to attend graduate school, Corky left REI and returned to the DC Metro Area where he took a retail position with one of the largest family owned specialty ski shops in the country, Ski Chalet. Over his tenure, he received several promotions to eventually become VP/GM.
After Ski Chalet, Corky became Director of Marketing for a small custom cabinetry business and later established his own Residential Contracting Business where he worked until moving to Colorado in 2012.
